Lazio finally sign River Plate's Carrizo

Lazio have finally signed goalkeeper Juan Pablo Carrizo from River Plate after problems with his documentation held up the move for a year, the Serie A club said on their Web site (www.sslazio.it).The Rome side were forced to play 44-year-old goalkeeper Marco Ballotta last season because of the hitch in Carrizo's move."I am proud to finally wear the shirt," he told reporters. "I thank the fans who have waited for me for a year."
