Atletico sign Porto star

Brazilian midfielder Paulo Assuncao has left Bwin Liga champions Porto for Spanish outfit Atletico Madrid.The 28-year-old is Los Rojiblancos’ fifth summer signing, after French duo Florent Sinama-Pongolle and Gregory Coupet, Holland international Johnny Heitinga and Czech Republic captain Tomas Ujfalusi.Assuncao used the Webster Clause to leave Porto and start a new adventure with Atleti, one of the most ambitious clubs in La Liga.
