Celtic to offer Lee Naylor to Aston Villa for Maloney

Celtic are trying to prise Sean Maloney back to Glasgow after he had a miserable season in Birmingham where he seems to be permanently on the substitutes bench.It has been reported that he is homesick for Glasgow and Gordon Strachan is keen to see the Scottish international back where the fans voted him Player of the Year in 2006.His agent, John Halliwell, has suggested he will stay at Villa Park and fight for his place in Matin O'Neill's team:"Martin O'Neill does rate him highly. The sooner Shaun settled down the better it was for all concerned and he is focused on winning his place back next season which I am sure he will.
