Is Wayne Rooney's Manchester United career in jeopardy?

Cristiano Ronaldo looks to be on his way to Real Madrid after refusing to return to Manchester and, even if he does come back into the United fold, he will be out until October as he recovers from an ankle injury. If Ronaldo does go to Real, United will get around £75million to compensate - but for me, Wayne Rooney is the more worrying problem. Supposedly out with a mystery virus contracted on the club's recent tour of Africa, he was fit enough to go wining and dining in London with new wife Colleen and allegedly spit at a Press photographer as he left a restaurant.Funny none of the rest of the United party got the bug and, oh yes, it was United's own "laboratory" that discovered the virus. Pardon me for having just the slightest doubts about all this.I believe Rooney has a serious ongoing personal problem which affected his form last season and is still obviously "bugging" him. And if things don't improve soon, Ronaldo won't be the only one on his way out of Old Trafford.

The deal ties the player to the Andalucian club for the coming three years. The 29 year old midfielder makes the move from Racing Santander, where he scored five goals in 34 games this season. While the player is widely known for breaking David Beckham's leg in a Champions League match in 2002, two months ahead of that year's World Cup, he did have a successful spell at Deportivo la Coruña.Duscher represented the Galician team from 2000 to 2007, and helped 'Depor' to two consecutive second places in his first years at the club.
